An experienced community volunteer and relief coordinator, actively supporting disaster-response efforts in Nepal. He also contributed to relief and community support initiatives following the 2015 Nepal Earthquake. For the current flash-flood relief campaign, he is coordinating local efforts to help connect donations with families and communities affected by the disaster.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

For eligible US taxpayers, donations to ANHS may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange. Keep your payment confirmation and request a written acknowledgment from ANHS, especially for donations of $250 or more.

Funds may support a government relief fund. Is my donation still deductible?

Your donation is made to ANHS, not directly to the Nepali government. ANHS is a US 501(c)(3) and retains control and discretion over donated funds. Any grant or transfer will be made for charitable purposes consistent with the campaign and applicable law. Tax treatment depends on the donor's circumstances.

How will relief priorities be determined?

ANHS will review information from government and qualified humanitarian sources and assess available relief options. Contributions are pooled and may support emergency shelter, food, safe water and sanitation, health, protection, logistics, and early recovery according to verified needs.

What happens if immediate needs change?

ANHS may adjust charitable allocations within the campaign's stated relief purpose and any applicable restrictions. Material changes and verified disbursements will be disclosed on this page.
